looking for opinions on kitchen design. in tge drawing of island the kitchen sink is off center to give more space at end of island where there is seating.. is this a bad idea? will it look off not being centered and what suggestions?

also tge dishwasher is to left of sink, im right handed so is it a good idea to shift that to the right of sink? my last question is distance between counter and island and fridge to island is 48”, it feels maybe a bit close, thoughts? pleasw share your kitchen or any help!!

what is the clearance between the stools and the wall behind? What rooms are around the kitchen?

We were just talking about this on another thread, ditch the pull outs on either side of the cooktop. Maybe you could use one larger vertical base cabinet for baking sheets? The spice pullouts are not that useful.

I think your fridge might need filler or it might need to be pulled forward more than it is drawn, in order to open the doors fully.

in answer to your question, off-center is fine.

Can the pantry door next to the wall oven be shifted down toward the fridge a bit? Or at least reverse the swing of the door or make it a pocket door so that the door doesn't open into the oven? Seems like that would be a constant annoyance.

that was drawn wrong actually, the door by the oven has the handle on the left so swings other direction.

The narrow pull outs by the stove are pull outs for cutting boards and those utensil holders.

    New build? Remodel?

What's surrounding the kitchen. A floor plan showing rooms, doors and windows etc is helpful.

The layout/function is important but so is the interface between the kitchen and its surroundings.

swap the pantry cabinet & fridge to help give the fridge door more clearance to open fully against the side wall.

Is the lighting realized by the ceiling? It may be too dim. You can add linear pendant lights and under-cabinet lighting for centralized lighting. This style is more suitable for your kitchen:

You need 60" from counter to wall fo stools where are your dishes stored that IMO is where your DW and sink go so make sure all the dishes can be close to the DW The sink off center is fine it needs to be close to the fridge The wall oven crammed in the corner with the pantry door right there is not great . Why no proper venting for the range or am I missing something there. 48 " walkways are usually okay I prefer abit more in front of the fridge / I would have done a rrange and a counter top MW I rarely do builtin MWS and see no reason for a single wall oven and cooktop . A good range with full sized oven cheaper and in this case better I dislike pantries that have mismatched doors to the rest of the kitchen the pantry is really just a large cabinets That whole corner there with the wall oven the pantry and the fridge is a really awkward area IMO and I think in real life will make you crazy since such a busy area usually ,I see no windows so really good LED 4000K lighting is a must . The style od the space is a mystery and for sure not that huge light with all those little things to clean in a kitchen ,

I put cutting boards under the sink, since that is where they get used the most.

Do you like your utensils jumbled together? Do you currently have them in a crock next to the stove? If you love this, you might like the pullout, though I consider it a waste of space. Maybe I'm just a little anal, but I like my cooking utensils more readily accessible. Here is my utensil drawer, next to the stove:
