off-white solid surface window sill has to go

last year

My new-to-me suburban ranch house has many outdated features. I’m working on the first floor bathroom removing all of the honey oak details. However I’m not ready to put in a new window and the sill is an inset solid surface piece that just looks dirty to me.
So, thinking……. Can I paint it. Should I wrap it?
Doing more farmhouse style trim anyway. Not sure what would be best.
