The picture is not clear and it's hard to see if the trim and colour of the gable is white or beige. White trim would be better. I've lightened the columns which looked like a dark beige and suggest larger black sconces, black flower containers, black Adirondack chairs instead of white.

What exactly are the HOA rules on colors? What exactly are you looking to paint?

I agree with Lisedv that the trim, garage door and columns should all be one color and I would go with a soft white. Whites can get really bright in the sunlight, so be careful that you don't go too white. I would probably go with the same white as your garage doors.

With the red brick I would not go with a and classic look of your home I wouldn't do a bright yellow green door. I would make it a bit more subtle. I would add some of the green around the sidelights.

Will give you advice about the vine growing on your brick - HAVE IT REMOVED!!! Vines growing on a house may look quaint but vines have filaments that grow into and penetrate the brick surface and the mortar and will eventually cause damage and lead to water infiltration.

Thank you everyone! I am looking to paint everything except the brick. The HOA has to approve the job, and isn't too restrictive.

Your fern looks like it needs more shade. I suspect it would look darker and healthier if it got more shade. Further, I suspect it's a member of the asparagus family and not a fern at all.

That said, you might find SW Lemon Verbena to have the warmth you are looking for in a green that your HOA might approve of.

Regarding the green Patricia posted, it was a custom mix for a home in Michigan. These are some other options from Benjamin Moore.

Muted Green is an xlnt choice to go with the brick; don't think you can do better.

The Entry should always be a focal point. With a grey-green trim as Patricia showed, black is xlnt for the front door; a deep terra cotta could also work well.

An additional accent would be to paint the window sashes black, all else gray-green.

Cut back the huge shrub on the right.

Pressure wash the front steps.

Remove vine from brick.
