Anybody do winter sowing?

I did winter sowing of perennials and some veggies. I'm thrilled to say only 3 failed to germinate. I have 2 that have filled the cartons to the top, but I'm not ready (weather) to plant them outside. If I pot them, do they need to go in my greenhouse until after our last frost date (middle of May) or should I plant them outside now? My greenhouse is fiberglass and has no
heat except the sunshine. If I do use the greenhouse, I'm thinking I'll fill some milk cartons and put around the pots as a basic heat source. Totally look forward to advice.
