I like velvet curtails, but I think it would be too much green already in room and also dark. Why not to go with light version?

That’s a whole lot of window(s) around the room at floor level to be covering with dark drapery panels. Due to width of window sections, a lot of wall space will be taken up with hanging panels stacking completely back off the windows as they should when drapes are open. What is needed at floor level windows? Light control or privacy? Looks like a lovely woodsy view outside - will the window coverings be open much of the time? I’m thinking about how shades or blinds would look instead of drapery panels. Then the same type of treatment could be used on the french doors or single door I think might be in the corner of the room. Roman shades can be made using the same colors you’re thinking of using for drapes & they could be mounted well above the windows so they don’t block any of the window when pulled up / open & that would fill some of the wall space between top & bottom windows. That’d also prevent the ’bottom heavy’ feel you want to avoid,
