Why is it so small? Can you make it larger? It looks like there's plenty of space to make it larger.

That looks like planks on the ground and a "deck" not yet built.

A deck suggests it is attached to a house.....not a fence. It's off the ground. If you are talking about creating a one step wood something set near a fence? It isn't a deck, and would be better as a patio, pavers or whatever set directly on the ground.

At 12 x 12, with a 36 inch Blackstone grill, room to be away from smoke? You won't have room for anything beyond a 42 inch table and 4 chairs tucked under. Why? BECAUSE if the picture you are showing is the deck? Chairs can't fall off the "deck" when someone backs up a chair. You need three feet to safely back up a chair!

Clarify what the heck you are doing.......Which seems to be to make a deck the same size as the AVAILABLE 12' planks.....With NO: ) RAILING!

What were you imagining would fit on this? Style what furnishings? Not to mention exactly which 36 "Blackstone, as 36" inches is only its width. Show which one with a link to the product.

    Here's 2 12 x 12 WITH the railings you are missing...

    re think your plan....?

The table and chairs below could not even be that large with no railing

Without a grill and with a railing....

Why is it sitting in the middle of nowhere?

It looks like one open side doesn't have a step. Build another module on that side.

Too small and way to far from the house to be useful I need a lot more info. 12 x12 fills up quickly when it has to house a grill and IMO not that close to the fence either .I lkke free standing decks but they need to relate to the house

The op seems to have left . It is hard to be kind or really anything without info.

The op is no more required to engage, than we are required to proffer help.

Consider creating zones—place the grill in one corner, then add a small dining set or cozy seating area with weatherproof cushions. Use a rug to define space and add warmth. String lights or lanterns can create ambiance, and planters with greenery or herbs will bring life and style to your deck.

Actually this segment is open on two sides. Move it away from the fence and you can add three more 12 x 12 pieces. Then your situation becomes much simpler. You can do anything you want.
