I’m looking for help choosing window treatments for my kitchen. The setup includes three windows, with the center window featuring an arch. I’m leaning toward wood shades — something similar to bamboo — but I’m open to other suggestions.

One thing I’m struggling with is whether to go with an inside mount or an outside mount for the shades.
• With an inside mount, the valance would sit below the arch on the center window, which might break up the shape.
• With an outside mount, the valance would be positioned above the other windows, which could create a cleaner line but might look a little bulky depending on the material.

There’s a lot of sunshine in the kitchen, which I love, but it also tends to heat up the room on hot days. So ideally, I’m looking for a solution that helps manage the sunlight and temperature while still letting in some natural light.

I would really appreciate any and all suggestions — both on materials and mounting style!
