Tiling into a corner--tiny sliver

Hello!
We are DIYing our backsplash. We are centering on our stove and are ending with a tiny little piece on the side for half of the rows. I did lay this out before and know this but proceeded anyway because to me not centering on the stove was less acceptable.
My question is can I use a pencil in the Small gap? The pencil happen to fit perfectly but would it look too weird? I'm not sure if my manual tile cutter can cut that tiny piece

I think it looks nice and finished with the pencil. I’d do all the rows before committing, just in case the walls are not straight.

No, I’m an idiot. Do the pencil and cut the field tiles to fit it.

(My walls are *very* non-straight - 110 y/o house - which makes me think about things differently than people with normal ish houses need to.)
