Hello, everyone. My new Martha Stewart rose bloomed today, so I wanted to share it with y’all.

MS rose is a French rose, hybridized by Meilland in 2021 and introduced in France as Jean de la Fontaine, and introduced this year in 2025 in the US as Martha Stewart. It was an exclusive at Edmonds I believe, but was also available from a retailer in Texas called ”Life in Rose Farm” which is where I purchased mine as a bare root. It was a very small own root bare root, you may remember my concern with its adventitious roots. Well it leafed out very well and bloomed today. the form and color are amazing. It will surely be the star of the spring flush of 2026 when it has developed more.
