Hi everyone. I'm building a off-grid wood framed house in south-east Europe and I've totally missed on planning for the ventilation of the roof. I saw many examples of condensation causing condensation and the joists to rot and I would like to avoid that but I don't know what's the right thing to do currently since the top part of the roof is already done. If removing the roof and then installing something is the only options I'm willing to do that, but I want to know also if there are any other options.

Looking from bottom-up the plan is to have (this is not done at the moment since I need to sort out ventilation first):

1. Drywall
2. Vapor Barrier
3. 7.8 inch (20cm) rockwool. The joists are 9.8 inch (25cm) so that would leave the 0.1inch (5mm) ventilation air gap (this is the point that concerns me it will collect condensation and I want to ventilate)

Going further up this is what is already installed:

- OSB board
- Water proofing layer (similar to Tyveks Home Wrap but from a different manufacturer since we don't have them here)
- 3.9inch (10cm) rockwool
- Air gap which at the highest point is 27.5inch (70cm) and them goes down to 0 at the other end of the house
- Metal roofing
