I don’t think the corner of the room needs anything like a chair but maybe add a tall plant. Consider a longer sideboard or console. The current buffet table looks a bit short/low.

It is a bit short but matches our table, so you have a suggestion on using what we currently have?

The table does look small and lost, but if you don't want to replace it with a bigger one, I'd add a cute tall shelf of some sort. Can be a fun color and then add a tall rectangular pick above the corner chair that has that color in it. I'd also put that flower vase on the black corner cabinet instead. It seems a little tall and large for that petite buffet. How about a beautiful platter on a little stand on the side toward the chair? I'd also change the fan to modern chandelier IF you are not in a horribly hot state.

If you want to keep that one, move it under the shorter window. Then get a taller piece for that space. You could put the bench in its place and add 3 framed pics under the taller window over the bench.

A shelf above the buffet table?!

Add some art. One large or two slightly smaller ones stacked on top of each other.
