What flooring is in the rest of the home? unifying the flooring throughout the home helps it feel more connected and larger I think

Why does the one door look blue? Can we see the big picture for context? Distance makes a differance when deciding color.

Rest of the house is 2” oak hard wood.

do you mean real tile...or tile LVP.....the oak elsewhere is a very grounding element in the home..I'd probably coordinate w slate type tile if you mean real tile. slate is classic and butts to wood quite nicely. the brown floor you show above is way too busy and ornate...but if you like it thats what counts.

Those big unnatural wormy veins are not wearing well over time. They are already trending down, because they are so "look at me". You might want to reselect to something that looks more natural. Same with the floors. Natural wood never goes out of style.

I would match the kitchen floor with the hardwood in the rest of the home - the right pro can feather it in and stain to match

if it has to be tile - agree with @herbflavor and go more low key

Sorry but those cabinets do not work with that counter at all I agree the same hardwood everywhere is ideal and can be done .That counter IMO would work nowhere it screams fake .
