Window treatment -curtain rod height help.

We just moved to this house and we would like to repurpose our Linen window treatments from old house, they are rod pocket panels that are 96" long. What height should we hang ther rod? If we hang the rod for the 96" panel there is an awkward space between the door trim and the rod. I know there is generally a preference to hang rod close to ceiling but where the ceiling is vaulted it may seem off? We are also hanging the same panels over the sliding door on the left in this photo and over the window on the right -up to the ceiling for those windows is 96" so the general rule would work for those windows. Should we hang rod just above all the door and window trim (and have all the panels shortened?) or should we hang the rod at 96" leaving a 14" "gap" between door trim and rod on the larger door but would probably look better at 96" for side door and window. Advice would be greatly appreciated!

You can use rings instead of the pocket, if you just need a couple of inches.

I would hang them just below the ceiling of the side windows

and the gable end to line up with the sides.

I prefer the higher height.

Whatever you choose .... hang them all at the same height. Sometimes there are structural reason you can't hang all window/slider treatments at the same height, BUT that is not the case here and it will look weird if they aren't all at the same height.

The rod needs to go where the drapes jusr skim the floor what ever height that is Are those speakers or sconces on the wall those cannot be covered so any stack back will cover part of the windowS do you reallt need drapes?

I LOVE your room! I'd hang them just as Patricia recommended, so that they just "kiss" the floor. You'll need to carefully measure where to place the brackets, so that once the panels are on the rods they will just hit the floor. And I think that linen panels will be a great way to add some softness to the room.
