When I got my Dendrobium kingianum at the end of '23, it had a keiki that appeared to have flowered and growing roots at a good rate. Eventually I took it off and stuck it in the same pot. Since then it has put on a pathetic little new cane. The keiki is 2-3mm diam.

Meanwhile the mother plant has deided to put on a new keiki; or should I say a new KEIKI.

This one is currently 15cm tall and >14mm diam.

Its bigger than some of the pseudobulbs that grew and flowered last year.

Is this normal size?
