Green is my favorite color so I'd never say so... But what is the orientation of your kitchen and the light source? Sometimes things look quite different depending on what's outside the windows.

It'll be open concept with some natural light, recessed lights and pendants. I don't plan on any yellowish bulbs in any of the lighting.

We asked about using the counter for the backsplash, but it's out of budget sadly.

I think the tile is a very pretty shade of green - I've seen it in person when I went tile shopping with my sister. I had never been to F&D before - it was kind of overwhelming! They had some really pretty tiles (many water jet mosaics that were really pretty also).

She purchased about ten sample tiles - that was one of them. Did you purchase a sample of the tile to see what it looks like in your actual kitchen?

I assume that the dark green is the color of your cabinets? Do you know what the color of the paint is? Some cabinet places will offer certain ekSW or BM colors + depending upon where you are purchasing the cabinets, you can sometimes select any paint color from either SW or BM.

What color/material are your floors?

This is our flooring, we haven't picked wall colors yet.

What is that green cabinet color specifically?

I'm not seeing enough contribution from the wall tile. No texture and too shiny. Many kitchens do not choose the backsplash until after the cabs and counters are installed. I'd do that in this case. Retain all the offcuts from your counter and look for a pale white with texture. Or wait a bit longer and use the counter material. Install is quick and simple. Even diy which saves you a bunch.

There is no problem using multiple greens but you have to make sure they look right together. You really won't know this until your floor, counters, and cabinets are installed and the light is hitting them all. Take your foot off the gas with your splash search. Wait until the cabinets are installed.

Waypoint painted sage was used by a designer in her kitchen:

She received so many question re: what color paint she used for her cabinets that she decided to do some research in order to find a "match" to a SW paint color.

Her selection (just using her eyes) was SW Shade Grown - the color selected by the SW color matching machine was SW Pewter Green.

@dani_m08 's pictures are really instructive. Look how calm those kitchens are!

Mustard Seed's (with the copper pots) doesn't even have a backsplash. I'm a big fan. I have always found washable paint easier to clean than tile and grout.

The bottom two have splashes so subtle, the blend into the counter.

Instead of looking at green tile, either go without or find an incredibly simple tile that is the nearest match to your counters. No need to make a back splash the star of your show when you already have so many strong elements in this kitchen.

If you go to any big box or tile store around you I’m sure you’d see a tile like that. Basic white subway about 3”x6” with a glossy undulating surface. That photo doesn’t show it as much but those tiles can look very ‘glittery’ when the under cabinet lighting hits it.
