Champagne problems… I may hate my new pool liner

My pool liner was in terrible shape and badly needed replaced. It was a light color so the pool color was aqua before.

I decided to go with a simple, medium blue and didn’t research or think too much about it. Big mistake. Well, now that it’s installed… I might hate it. It’s not the kind of thing that I can just redo… it wasn’t cheap and should last 7-10 years.

So, please tell me it doesn’t look that bad… and also give me some ideas about how I can spruce up the surroundings to make it fit better. I’m wondering if the navy and black furniture is not doing any favors.

I don't love it either, as I prefer a very light aqua color, but what are you going to do?

I think your yard needs some other strong elements to balance out the bold blue of the pool.

Maybe some ceramic planters in blue with pool friendly plants ( things like succulents, bromelia, etc that don't drop stuff all over the place)

Here are my planters to give you an idea.. Mine are a beige color to go with my more muted look, but you could go bolder to complement the pool color.

Are you in FL or CA? I lived in both, so I can suggest better plants to use in planters depending on your state.
