Something is out of whack and not square in the opening. Has it always been that way? How old is the door? How old is the home? The door would most likely need to be rehung, either the door itself or the entire frame comes out and gets reinstalled plumb, level and square. Of course this is all an educated guess without more info / pictures.

It is a 2 year old home so really new home and door. You can barely tell from this photo so when I go there this week again I can take photos from inside.

The door frame and transom will all need to come out and be reset plum, level and square. Unfortunately not much of option other than that.

Would weather stripping work?

I woudl give that a try to have a thicker weather stripping first before we do the larger project.

If the reveals are off by a 1/4" weatherstrip won't work, too big a gap and the issue will be the heavier weatherstrip will make it so the tighter side of the door will not close. Do it once and do it right.

The above isn't very clear what the problem is - can you say more about what is "crooked"?

You can see the outside from the gap in the side more on the bottom of the door on the left and with 12 degree weather, this gets drafty and it is quite windy here too. Also the flap ( not sure what you call) or the weather stripping on teh door is first joined by two strips and it does not go all the way to the floor so all the outside grass adn more dried stuff comes through besides all the bugs...I dont like so many bugs in my home.

You can install a sweep strip on the bottom of the door if the gap is there. If there is a gap on the sides, use thin weatherstripping to seal it enough to get by for now.

Bush Fix: use longer fasteners to pull the jam square.

When you take new pictures, can you include the door jam and existing weathstripping. Also a picture of a straight edge demonstrating the out of square.

Absolutely! This house has many alignment issues inside the house. THankfully it is not in the exterior.

You need a skilled carpenter to come out with a 7’ level to come out and verify that everything is plumb and square. You have adjustable hinges, they may just need adjustment.

How do you know if you have adjustable hinges

Post a photo of the hinge open. I’m guessing it’s adjustable just based on the size of the door and multi point lock. I could be wrong.

Put a level and a square on it and see if it's the door that's crooked or out of square or the frame, that will help inform the solution.
