Can anyone tell me how I can get the number of preparations back to 0 on a Miele 6805?

According on the instructions starting on page 24, it appears you can set the number of "preparations" to one, two, or 3-8. You can reset the appliance to factory settings by following the instructions on pages 39-41.

Correct. As shown on page 46, you cannot reset the "Number of drink portions".

The appliance isn't going to let you mislead other people into thinking that it was used less than it actually was. You can't reset your car's odometer either.
