Wall Paint Color….help please!

Heavily inspired by the kitchen photo attached but not the biggest fan of the wall color. While I understand the position of lighting can attribute to color differences, is there a such thing as a neutral color that compliments without having to factor in lighting?

Looking for recommendations on a white/gray wall color that can be used throughout the whole house or at minimum the common areas such as dining, living, and hallways. This is a small home so looking to make the space appear larger if possible.

Kitchen Cab Color: Lait Grey

Kitchen Hardware: Matte Gold

Flooring: Hardwood throughout to be refinished similar to the image.

Kitchen Floring: TBD (thinking tile)

IMO the lighting has ahuge impact on color . What lighting are you using? I like LED 4000K . Wall color one of the last things you choose so lets see your space . I think an actual color for the walls could be good and the hardwood all through the house too.What was the reason for the gray cabinets ?

I had not considered the lighting in totality but had intended to install recessed. When confirming my lighting purchase, the range can be set from 2700K - 6000K.

The image for the grey cabinets was to show what I went with which appeared to be slightly less blue than the inspo photo. Thank you!

I agree with you.

The cabinet color is beautiful, but the wall is awful; the color, all the applied (as in phony) trim. IMO, it cheapens the kitchen.

What if that wall were wallpapered? Thinking a grass cloth. It would be more suited a balance to the cabinets, and, definitely, lend a more classic application than what is there.

If wallpaper isn't your vision, another suggestion would be a darker tone for the accent, hall wall.
