What makes you think they are hickory?

To do this properly you have to strip, sand, and finish. Secondly, I agree with @herbflavor, that’s not hickory. That looks like red oak to me. When you prep it properly it should take stain very well.

Be careful using any of those witches brew as they have on more than one occasion ruined finishes to the point that nothing can be done to refinish.................

Are you talking about the little scrapes at the lower right corner of the door, around the knob?

“Wood repair markers“ are made for touching up that sort of little mark. Go to a good hardware store, they should have a pack of several markers.

Naturally you start with the lightest color marker, test it somewhere inconspicuous (the backside of a door), then try it in the least noticeable place (bottom of a lower cabinet door that got marked by an errant shoe but no-one notices unless they are laying on the floor, but since people are usually laying on the kitchen floor in states that don’t make them very observant about tiny marks on cabinetry, the mark effectively does not exist and you can try out the marker there with low stakes).

Apply marker, rub out with cloth.

I second the person that said to contact a furniture refinishing business. There is one near cincinnati that is amazing.
