Wow! What a truckload of beauty today!Clown Parade is Perfect bright red and pristine white. Pansy Face Charmer is such a pretty bloom. Is it new? If so, it may improve height wise as it get older. Butter Cream is gorgeous, and I really like Cloud of Witnesses. My Bubblegum Queen is much lighter than yours, and I don't know why. It is a lovely bloom but pae pink rather than Bubblegum. colored. I really like the unique color of Pinewood Lily Pad . Deliverer with Mr. Butters is a nice pairing. Very striking. Your bed shot is showing all that color. Very nice post, Kate.

Thanks Kay. I know you understand about multiple blooms every day. Cloud of Witnesses opened with 10. I did not even count the blooms on Mister Butters. They both bloomed a long time last year but maybe not this season! This is year three of Pansy Face Charmer. It is registered at 22 inches but is barely half of that. It is an edge plant and will stay there! You know I am out at sunrise in the garden. If the blooms are open, they get a photo. Maybe that is why BG is darker. It does lighten up as the day progresses and is in full sun.

Like you, these are only a fraction of what’s blooming now.

You may be fooled. Mr. Butters is still blooming its head off here and the silly thing is only in its second year. The fact that they are blooming a lot doesn't seem to matter. The rain water has been magic. Mud, yes, but unprecedented bloom with all Deliverer has already bloomed big clumps, day after dayit had 22 today! Just lean back and watch and kick the deer while you are at it Did you see my neighbors scarecrow? She dressed it in her clothes and her height just about Olan thought it was her working late. Your plants are just lovely. Keep posting since you have a lot of different ones, I really enjoy seeing them. Maybe you can get a recording od big dogs barking that is activated by movement.

So much blooming! I really love seeing the garden shots. Such a great clump of Green Rainbow, I added it this spring and glad you posted yours. It’s also good to see you and Kay posting Clown Parade….it is new here and only had a few blooms last season.

In the landscape photo, what is the red beneath Mister Butters? Is Cloud of Witnesses usually clean? So good to see your plants flowering well, Kate, after problems with bugs.

I remember last year being struck in particular by some of your daylilies. Pinewood Lily Pad is still looking great this season. I may have to add that one to my list. How does the color hold up in the heat? The other one I liked last year was Pansy Faced Charmer. It's a Maryott I think and I always liked his forms, but his growth habits aren't sometimes the best. Too bad about in the bloom down in the foliage......Kara Louise is so beautiful and Rumba Numba stands out....Butter Cream just glows.....What a nice group this is..................Maryl

Such wonderful clumps! It looks like the bugs are leaving your buds alone this time. I've liked all your photos of Lady Dragon, but today's really wow me. Glad to know the blooms on Bubblegum Queen are very large for you. It looks pretty well-budded too. Did the scapes ever get to the 30-inches or over?

Sherry, I think you will like Green Rainbow. I have two huge clumps-it multiplies well! The bloom is much smaller than the bigger the better ones I like but there are so many buds that it makes up for that!!

Maryl, I will check on sunfastness on Lily Pad. Of course none hold up well in my heat! Pansy Face was a bonus and you are right about Maryotts but the bloom really is dramatic.

Debra, BQ is not at 30 inches-maybe barely 24 but it is performing very well and the blooms are huge.

Mantis, that red is Deliverer. Cloud of Witnesses is usually very clean. Last year it performed great and it looks to repeat that performance this season.
