Beautiful Kate! They are Amazing! I love your Lady Dragon Mine is blooming better this year, but not up to that many at a time. Love it. Debra's seedling is such a beauty. Well done, Debra as usual. I like Born in California. I notice that you and I both are into the purples. They are just so pretty. Colby Coventry is an eye catcher.Wouldn't it be pretty next to that lovely next to Debra's lovely seedling. opposite colors but similar form. Retreat Beach is another winner. Pinewoods Lily Pad is a stand out What a lovely post. There isn't a stinker in the bunch!

I am glad you showed Green Rainbow again….I love the Lady Dragon . I am always amazed at the wonderful pink on Wild Cherry Wine, just love it.

Kay, this is the best budded Lady Dragon has ever been although she has never been stingy with buds. I am really enjoying it this year. And yes, purple and yellow tend to dominate my garden!!

Sherry, I have two huge clumps of Green Rainbow in different places. It multiplies well. And I agree about the luscious pink color on WCW.

Brad, I knew you would like Retreat Beach! And yes, all the rain has helped give a great season. Getting my bugs under a semblance of control has also helped!!

Beautiful clumps Kate! I am in love with Flight of Orchids and Pinewood Lily Pad! I came here with a question for you. A friend is being attacked by insects. I was reminded of your bugs. Do you still battle them? Is this what you had? I remember you posted pictures

That is exactly what they are, Nancy. Dratted things. They are lopidea. They will decimate her daylilies. I have been battling them for at least 15 years. If you have the same email, I will send you the plan the agricultural university entomologist set up for me and it has helped tremendously. I said in another post I have been seeing blooms I have not seen in years.

Thank you, Kate! I think Ihave seen one or 2 over the years, actually, but squished what I saw and never saw damage or more than occasional one. I have been assuming they are not the same bug. But your info would be great. Yes, I still have same email! I probably need the info myself in case mine are something else. Mine have more black than red though.

I can tell you are pleased with Lady Dragon this season. It makes a striking clump. I'm glad to see improvement in the form of my seedling with some heat. Retreat Beach is a wonder color, and the clump of Pink Panther Paws calls to me.

The base color of Grace Like Rain is indeed lighter. The eye is more lavender here. I have always admired Trimmer's hybridizing, but don't see Lady Dragon as being a good one here. You have much more to choose from--a good, and bad, thing.

Debra, Lady Dragon, like many, has just put on a show this year. It has a very large dramatic bloom. Your seedling has lots of buds and is very healthy. Now if it would just multiply!!

Mantis, I should have taken a later photo of Grace Like Rain out of the shade-it really does have more delicate coloring.
