Replacement Windows Advice

last month

Hi Everyone,
We are replacing our original windows in our home and need some help deciphering between two products. Each window company we have visited has 3 1/4 and 4 1/2 frame depth vinyl windows. Most of the companies have assumed we would install the 3 1/4 depth, and now a different company has recommended that the 4 1/2 would be better. They said our walls have enough depth to install the deeper window and that with this window we will not need a brick mold, just the window itself, foam insulation, and calking...which will look less bulky with more glass. As opposed to the 3 1/4 depth which all companies said would require a brick mold, foam insulation, and calking...and would mean a smaller glass portion.
Does anyone have experience with this and can provide some advice?
Side note, the 4 1/2 frame profile is more modern and I like the look better :)
