I don't know what S. Sara is, but another great display of flowers. Again, nice to see clumps because they show scape height in relaion to foliage, as well as placement. So many hybridizers hide the plant habit of their intros with mug shots. Mister Mayor is so vigorous!

Those dark purple clumps are to die for, Kate! I kept Indian Giver for years and never had enough buds for anything and they weren't nice and dark like that either. Vatican City is gorgeous and you can never say enough good about Mr. Mayor and I like the flowers behind it. I do like Substantial Evidence and Love struck Linda is blooming here too. It is a good one as is Blackberry Dragon. S. Sara is a pretty one. Gorgeous post, Kate!

Nancy and Kay, when I went back over the post, I laughed at all the purples and pinks in the post!! I need to make a note to myself I have enough of those colors. Actually, I need to make a note I have enough daylilies of any color!!

Love the clump shots. Indian Giver looks especially nice today. Mr Mayor is impressive again, all those buds too. Indian Giver left my garden last fall, three awful seasons in a row for it, another daylily with evergreen habits gives it up here

Kate, it probably won't help. I too tend to stick with many of my favorites. LOts of purples, especially dark ones, lots of bright oranges (which will not change) and I do tend to really like bicolors. I have added a lot of yellow in the last couple of years and what I need is more white. But I still have a lot of new ones yet to bloom, which is exciting, and the rains make them blooms so that I pulled 977 blooms today!! I couldn't believe it. over a 100 more than the previous most plus I had all the mushies to pull for the rains. It took almost two hours!

Lovely pics and the clump shots are great to see. I like to see the effects of rain on the blooms to tell which ones will "melt" but none of yours show that.

I assume S. Sara is $exy Sara. I like that clump. What a way for Indian Giver to burst onto the Scene! You know I love Mister Mayor - such a nice picture of it! Journey of Magic really appeals to me as the Petits always do. My Born to Reign always had much redder tones than yours. It was a good grower in Nashville, and I hope it will do well here. Chained in the Abyss also catches my eye.
