Bleach kills plants so it's probably not conducive to seedling health.

No. Do NOT use bleach on your plants. Bleach will kill your seedling. Bleach and fertilizer is not a good mix.

I don't know who the guy is you are spamming to Howard... but don't use bleach.

I will add to bees' comments and say NOT to mix bleach and fertilizer!! Not only will the bleach very likely kill the seedlings but it will make the soil more alkaline (which citrus do not like) and kill off any beneficial soil organisms.

Why would you want to do this? What are you hoping to achieve?

Bleech would be a music band, and since Howard keeps spelling it bleech I'm going to start assuming they mean they play this song to their plant when they feed it.

Bleach is poison to plants. Since Howard is not spelling the word bleach I'm going to start assuming they are not giving their plant a spoonful of bleach the chemical on the regular.

So... sure, there have been some mixed studies about music and it's impact on plants. If different kinds of music are more beneficial or harmful than others. Classical, higher frequency, raga, and violin music have been noted as more positive, with rock and discordant music tending to be more negative.

If Howard has been playing the Bleech song while fertilizing it will not have as positive of an impact since it's more discordant. Some of Bach's violin sonatas could have a more positive impact.

So... sure, there have been some mixed studies about music and it's impact on plants. If different kinds of music are more beneficial or harmful than others. Classical, higher frequency, raga, and violin music have been noted as more positive, with rock and discordant music tending to be more negative.

In the 1960s, Dorothy Retallack conducted experiments in which she exposed different plants to different genres of music. The result? Those "listening" to classical music and soft jazz grew more luxuriant, while those exposed to discordant sounds or aggressive rock showed signs of stress. Even in South Korea, some researchers have shown that certain sound frequencies can accelerate flowering and enzyme activity in plants.

Another study conducted at the University of Missouri showed that some plants, when exposed to the sound of grazing insects, activate defense mechanisms, such as the production of substances toxic to herbivores.

Here in Italy, Stefano Mancuso hypothesizes that plant roots are able to detect vibrations in the soil, using this system to find water or other sources of nutrition. Studies have shown that roots tend to grow toward sound sources, suggesting that sound could act as a guide in the search for vital resources.
