A few more on Monday

Today was a beautiful day! The temperature was about 75 and the humidity had dropped. Bob and I had the time to look at lots of flowers, especially seedlings.

I have posted photos (Small World Fire in the Hole X Stoke the Fire) before. We continue to love this one. Hopefully, it will be an intro in 2027. We haven't taken stats on it this year, but many scapes have 5 or 6 way branching and one scape had about 40 buds.

Cherry Pie a la Mode X (Cherry Pie a la Mode X Rosie with a Ring) had its ffe today.

This is supposed to be The Mouse that Roared X Mayor of Munchkinland. I don't see much of the 'mouse' in it though. This was from purchased seed.

Lava Flow was gorgeous today.

Peter Pan's Kiss was blooming today.

That first seedling looks fantastic, and with 5- and 6-way branching it sounds like a real winner. Congrats on that one!

The 1st one sounds great! I have several of that general look, but the branching and bud count would be a go for me!

I agree. The seedling is very special. Love that little edge. I think voles must have munched on my Lava Flow. I have not seen it in a couple of years.

Mantis, the Stoke the Fire seedling does not start opening the night before. It is open fully early in the morning. Cold mornings don't seem to slow it down either.

A couple of really nice seedlings Nancy. Lava flow is always such a pretty one. Happy for the season moving along.
