Every stem on the plant has a big flowerhead. If I cut them off at, say, 8 inches, the plant is full of ugly stumps owing to how the leaves grow, and the plant does not bush up enough to hide the tops of the stumps. Any thoughts on how best to deadhead the plant so it looks good?
