I intended to make '26 a big dahlia purchase year, glad I didn't for the immense rains received! Now, only have a small handful of varieites, this a new one called 'Camelot' with coppery colored blooms upon dark foliage and compact stature, rather nice enough to keep.

I keep forgetting to take photos! My dahlias are so-so this year. Some are growing like gangbusters, others right next to them are dying. And I lost three to moles/voles I think, just last week. I had three stragglers on the patio in little pots, and I kept thinking, I MUST get those planted out before they die! I planted them out in the garden and three days later I could tell the moles/voles had worked their evil. Sure enough, I went over to them and lifted the stem straight up. Shoulda left them in the pots lol.

I'll try to take some photos tomorrow morning. I plan on cutting a few and I'll try to remember to take pics before cutting!

Beautiful colors! My dahlias stink this year! I don't know if it's too much rain (would that be such a thing for dahlias?) but I'm just not getting a lot of blooms. :(

Yes, earwigs here too. Lol although not this year. There are so few blooms I think the earwigs said forget about this place, let's try somewhere else!
