Hi, has anyone installed one of these or have one installed that they can tell me the actual cutout required for the base of it? I'm trying to see if this can fit in a 36" cabinet base 34.5" opening. The product specs page on the website shows it needs 35.25" and the product dimensions page shows 33.75", big difference! Thanks

The difference is likely necessary for clearance from combustibles like cabinet sidewall. Cooktop is not suggested for an island and gas is less safe than induction.

Here is the chart on their page. For your model, you need 34 5/16 but can go a little bigger or smaller.
