Most of the current ads for frame tvs show them with a linen liner and a dark frame, not a wide gold frame. Try some samples.

The "linen liner" is a digital setting and has nothing to do with an aftermarket wood/metal frame that someone might want to add.

I can change the "mat" setting and the picture will display smaller with a white (or several other colors) mat around it. You can do a thin mat or a wide mat. I like it large, without a mat, because that is how you would usually display a large oil painting.

Testing the frames before buying ... and here you can see how I had it set up with a darker mat around the art. That is all digital and not part of any aftermarket frame.

I would not choose gold, you already have a feature of gold in the room.

I like the black with gold accents that chispa posted. That was my first choice for our TV but it didn't fit due to how low our TV was hung. We did the thin gold frame that she shows in the corner for ours.

Why is a frame even needed? I would not add the frame.

IMO frame TVs are kind of passe since any TV will allow you show art, family photos really anything you want but please no matter lower that TV.

Regarding the decor (not the tv frame) I think some color is needed. Different artwork, pillows and maybe a different rug…what colors do you love? The room feels very “safe” and not showing your personality.
