Another bloom today

Quasar Cutie had its first bloom today. It‘s a shame I didn't get to the garden til late afternoon. it has put up 18 scapes and am hoping for a few clump shots. it was 92 degrees today and humid…..that‘s 10 degrees higher than normal. Hopefully some rain the next two days then mid 90’s for a week. We need rain desperately here, I have yellowing foliage on some of my daylilies already( see in my photo).…dont remember seeing that in the past.

It is a cutie and sounds like a good plant. I hope you get rain, I would share what we are getting if I could. I was about to say that I have some yellowing plants to, just scattered around between perfectly green healthy ones. I am blaming all the rain, but that does not sound like your problem.

Like Nancy, I would gladly funnel some of our rain to you. It always seems to be feast or famine! That’s a lot of scapes on Quasar Cutie. Hopefully you will get nice clump blooms from that!

Quasar Cutie must be a fast multiplier if you have 18 fans. Nice to see it blooming again.

18 scapes is alot so you have very good soil. You may need to do a rain dance but be careful as it may tip the scales too much and you will have floods. (just kidding). After tomorrow we will be in a dry spell here and into the 90's all of next week too.
