Well, here too daily rain, but once it ends, it will be mid-90s. Arnold's Daughter is doing well! You Are Mine seems to be just beginning. How pastel is it? Magic of Oz was not short here, but did lean a bit, and the colors weren't great in its location.

Mantis, Magic of Oz is always short here. It’s not a favorite so is often overlooked and rarely photographed. This is the best Arnold’s Daughter has ever bloomed but I can say that about a lot of plants! As I have mentioned, I am often in the garden just as the sun is rising, mostly due to the heat. Colors are often deeper then and photograph darker so You Are Mine is slightly paler than shown.

Beautiful! We had rain, two hours before they predicted it. I did get pictures ahead of the rain Yours are gorgeous and beautiful clumps! Do not apologize for posting Southern Cotton; It deserves it. White Eyes Pink Dragon looks like a painting. mantis is right. We are supposed to have 100 degree heat advisory by the week end.

WEPD is gorgeous, mine has not started blooming yet. A friend gave me something of Oz, but I think mine is Adventures in Oz? Should look that up, but that did not impress me at all. Short, and leaned, how is that possible? I know, 1st year, it might improve, but I don't think it will. I have Christmas in Oz, it is pretty short, 25" or so, but I love the flowers. Off track though. Always love Jellyroll! And of course, Merlot, but Southern Cotton keeps calling me back, gorgeous!

So happy you are finally getting a dry day! I must be in a lavender mood today. My top favorite is You Are Mine, followed by Arnold's Daughter. More Royal Girls calling to me.

Kay, I did not get photos until this afternoon so my next posting will be raindrop blooms again! Southern Cotton continues to glow in the garden. Thankfully, it is at the edge of the garden so I can get many photos! We, too are looking at a heat advisory in a few days.

Nancy, I don’t think I have any Oz daylilies that call to me! I moved WEPD two years ago and it is just now settling in to its new spot.

You have posted some beautiful clump shots. Jelly Roll Morton is my favorite today. I added that one last season so I hope it blooms in my garden soon. Merlot on My Mind is beautiful also. Do you already have lates blooming? Explosion in the Paint Factory is a late bloomer for us.

Nancy, Explosion is beginning to bloom the same time as previous years-two days earlier than last year. I call these the mid lates here as I only have one or two truly late bloomers. Rebloom has begun on many.
