The heat is on today and on top of that, Bob has a nasty summer cold. So we didn't spend much time in the garden this morning.

Bodacious Bite was its normal lovely self this morning.

Empire of Dawn and Dusk has been one of our most important hybridizing flowers.

Gisela Meckstroth's flower is large and very flat.

Heavenly Pink Angels has small flowers on tall and well branched scapes.

Lincoln Andrea is a lot prettier in person.

Neon Flamingo was nice this morning.

Penguin Tuxedo's flower was marred by the split in the bottom petal. That kind of damage can happen with very heavy rain or hail.

Sam Abell was divided last season so he's not quite up to speed yet.

Screech Owl is an old one. In its current location (too much shade), it's not well budded.
