Your counters are cream colored and your cabinets are white. Your options for a backsplash are cream, white, or (possibly) and of the other colors you see in the counter material, like the copper or grey veining, but don’t go nuts with either of those.

A cream tile will make your counter and backsplash companion pieces. A white tile will make the counter its own surface in a sea of white. This is Fireclay Tile in Sand Dune. I would choose a beautiful shape, like an ogee drop or paseo, and go with a cream grout.

Eam, yes that is what I’m thinking. The previous owner pulled those earth tones and it doesn’t look good. I don’t want to show photos. House is still pending.

Over all it just looks creamy, the veins are very light.

Funny, in my NY kitchen I chose a giallo counter that was too brown for my white cabinets. I was rushed to make a decision. It took me 6 months to find the right tile to transition.

And now, I have the same dilemma!

Well at least cream and white pair well together!
