FFO’s from the past few days.

I had several ffo’s the past few days, most were really nice.

Through Dark Waters had a nice start but not many buds, 2 short scapes.

Anzac ffo on my shade loving daylily.

Get R Done first bloom, photo was taken from quite a distance away, scapes are tall.

Banshee Whisper will have a decent season.

Tall Dark Stranger with a gorgeous first bloom. Scapes are tall and well budded.

Going Bananas beginning. It has not gone bananas here, but this season it is well budded compared to previous seasons.

Ffo Destined to See.

Clematis is always so pretty. That is a great photo of Tall Dark Stranger. I dug into mine twice last fall so it was less well budded this season. Anzac does well in the shade in your garden.

Nice openings on those. I think Destined to See is my favorite today. The clematis is amazing. I've never had much luck growing those.

I didn't like how Through Dark Waters looked in my garden (no shame on that - very few purples, if any, even look like purple here, let alone hold well in our heat). I ended up giving it to my Pastor as the name sounded slightly biblical (but I don't think it is).......What a marvelous shot of Tall Dark Stranger. That's one beautiful package - color and form........That Clematis sure likes where you have it. ..........Maryl

Tall Dark Stranger is not as dark here, but a nice cultivar out of Russian Rhapsody.

Now that is one lovely Huldine clematis. I grew it in NYS and it doesn't disappoint. A great bloom machine. Tall Dark Stranger looks very good. How long have you had Through Dark Waters ?

Through Dark Waters has been here 6 seasons, has endured a move. It is among a few daylilies I have that will have a poor season. It has been great til this season.

Huldine is gorgeous! Tall Dark Stranger is my favorite daylily bloom; nice photo of it. Anzac is a pretty red.

I always liked Get R Done, but it was never happy here. Beautiful flowers on a very short plant, not a lot of blooms either until it's last year, then it died. I did not mourn. But I did hate losing Tall Dark Stranger. Huge clump suddenly got crown rot 3 yr ago... I may replace it some day, but lots of time when I try again, the new one gets crown rot too, so I don't often replace any more. I can enjoy yours though!
