Thought I would post a couple of seedlings

Red Skeletons was crossed witha Davidson, I remembered that much, but not which Davi. Huge flower with great branching and good bud counts. Taller that Red, maybe a bit too tall after the storms we had

I don't find this particularly beautiful, but it catches the eye of visitors. Out of Cosmic Odyssey, but larger flowers. Very determined plant, growing in the middle of grassy clump of weeds and still doing well

Thought I took pictures of a couple more I thought interesting, but guess not

What pretty photos on these! Love the Sam Abell shot-so nice! And what a clump of Mean Green. It really stands out. Mama Drama is looking good too and the Red Skeletons seedling looks prolific. Nice post of a variety of looks.

I love both of those seedlings! It looks like you have a large clump of the Red Skeletons kid.

The Red Skeleton kid has grown a lot faster than any seedling I have had. I had it down among the weeds and liked it well enough to bring it closer to the house. Still among the weeds but it gets a little fertilizer and water when it gets really dry. This was is the second year it has bloomed. Mean Green is getting to be a nice clump.

Glad these postedfor you! Grand Daddy has an interesting look. I like the clump shot. Chicago Girls is a pretty lavender. Such nice clumps!!

Grand Daddy is one that many have found to be slow to get established (see comments in Plant of the Day). Including me. Good to see it flourishing. Sam Abell is also looking good here this year. Red Venom turns pinkish in the heat. Has not been vigorous here and is short, but is in the full-sun bed that has baked. It may need time to get established, or it may not be that hardy.

Your seedling is quite a performer, cant have enough of those. Mean Green is showing off today. great clump shots today.

This is the 3rd year for Grand Daddy, I got it in spring and it did not do much that year, spit out a couple blooms, but that is to be expected by most plants. Davi was very generous with this plant, she sent 7 fans. I shared a single fan with a friend, yes, I am selfish. it is now 8 fans so definitely does not multiply as fast as many of her plants do. It bloomed fairly well last year, again, not as much as I would have expected. You can see it is doing well in its 3rd year, and I am very happy, I like the different look. Frankly, so far I am finding Davi's Natty Man to be more particular. Planted spring of last year, I thought it had died, but showed up later. very late to show up this spring and shows not sign of blooming this year. Red Venom has done very well for me, taller this year, and has flopped in the winds a bit. But I dug into it this spring, so it might have been withstood the winds if that had not happened. Other than that, it does not seem to have noticed being dug. I just wish I had moved it a foot forward. Prismatic is trying to take over. Thank you all for the comments, it was a great day for pictures even though I am on the downward path and seeing last blooms on lots of plants. But I am also seeing lots of rebloom scapes.

All your Davissons look good. Grand Daddy is striking with that big throat. Chicago Girls overwintered well here, and did double in fans over the winter. I look forward to it starting to bloom.

The post of the four daylilies [starting with Grand Daddy] are all fantastic. Love the colors & styles. Also Lady Ha Ha is a great lavender as well. Jellyroll Morton always catches my eye. I will say Mr. Mayor and Chicago Girls are my absolute favorites.
