SUNDAY'S Blooms

The is coming back. The only benefit is that it is 70 at night and the ones that struggle to open on cool mornings are not having any problems.

I will start out with an old old daylily. It was one of the first ones I ordered from Wild's. DEAR MOM. This one sticks around for sentimental reasons.

POLLY ESTHER: Nice tall and large yellow. Can't miss it.

LIMELIGHT AND LAVENDER: I love this this flower. It is simple and clean looking.

LINES OF WISDOM on the scape

SUSQUEHANNA GREAT BALLS OF FIRE: On a tall scape. I only wish the bloom size was a little bigger

PHILLIES' PINSTRIPE

ADENA DENTICLES: A gift plant with my order from Mike Derrow. I think I am going to like this plant.

LONESOME JAGUAR: After seeing Debra's images of this one, I had to get it.

BLUE-EYED BUTTERFLY: I have always liked the pattern of this one.

BEST IN SHOW BETSY: 7 inch bloom this morning. It is generally flat. Love it.

Like Best in Show Betsy! Especially at that size flower. Lonesome Jaguar looks really good. I love Susquehanna!!! I have one similar, Martin Blondeel, that I really like. It is an Evergreen, but is doing well so far.

Polyesther appeals to me, as does Adena Denticles. Best in Show Betsy is always a winner.

I like yellows so Polyesther caught my eye. Blue Eyed Butterfly has a dainty appearance and Lines of Wisdom looks good. I like the sentimental keeper!

That is a very pretty post, David. Dear Mom may be old but it is a lovely delicate bloom, I understand why you like Limelight and Lavender; it is very pretty. Lines of Wisdom is nice and Best of Show is a stand out. There isn't a stinker in the bunch. Pretty post.

Keep us posted on Best in Show Betsy. I think you got it last year? I like that shading of yellow on Adena Denticles. I think Nan also has Phillies Pinstripe and wonder what her experience has been.

LIMELIGHT AND LAVENDER really is a nice one. I'd say it is my favorite of these. BEST IN SHOW BETSY and Lines of Wisdom are also wonderful.
