I saw that title: Purple! Chicago Girls and Wreckless Girls are my favorites of these. Star Lord and Freedom of Expression X Violet Sabrewing are next.
Born to Reign X (Mayans' Dawn X The Ultimate Sacrifice and Blood of the Martyrs are also beautiful.

The Freedom of Expression sibling seedlings are my favorite today, have i seen them before? The Thunderglow seedling caught my eye today, such a saturated purple, love it. I hope the performance improves. Glad you are in the 80’s, we are stillin the 90’s and need some rain again.

Well, aren’t these pretty?!! Star Lord is showing out in that photo. I like the color on Chicago Girls. The Pink Extraordinaire seedling is really pretty. What color on Such a Blaze!!

Star Lord is gorgeous. And Such a blaze really is a bold color, can't miss it. Perfect for this time of year I guess. Thunder Glow seedling is really nice too, i like that look.

Sherry - This is the third year I've shown photos of the Freedom of Expression seedlings. There are four of them, but only the ones shown above have scaped. They were planted at the beginning of November last year. In Nashville, they were planted in part shade and did not increase very fast because of it.

Chicago girls is a pretty one and what a pretty bloom in Thunder Glow X (Skin of My Teeth X Midnight Castle) #2 . Francis Busby is a super bloom, many thanks to you for that one and it is still blooming on a couple of rebloom scapes. here. Star Lord is a lovely foursome.

Maybe some of your plants are still on TN time. I have yet to see Star Lord, and I've seen just one Chicago Girls. No Reckless Girls yet either. Peak here is usually after the fourth. I certainly agree that Star Lord has a better flower than parent Mary's Baby; maybe this year it will prove to be floriferous with good height.

Mantis - I think peak here is usually around July 4th. Soules Daylily Gardens, which is a half mile from my house, always used to tell me their peak was the first week in July. My sister here, who used to grow about 15 daylilies, always had her peak by the July 4th weekend when I visited.

Lovely post and the purples really shine. You've done a lot of planting when you moved so everything looks very good. I'm hoping we get back to 70's soon as this humidity is getting tiresome. We still have July and August to get through.

I almost swoon when I see your Star Lord. I've about given up on purples here (for one thing most aren't purple) but my Mary's Baby can still make my heart pitter patter when the weather is just right, and by extension her kin Star Lord. The other winner for me in this post is your seedling out of Born To Reign (also kin to Star Lord). That simple white edge is perfect on it. Very pretty.............Maryl

Star Lord is indeed stunning but I love your Thunder Glow seedling. It's too bad it's a slow increaser. The Born to Reign seedlings is also a lovely purple.
