Today is Canada Day here !

There are lots of parades, fireworks and other fun things going on.

For me, I just watered the front gardens and now I am having a break.

Wishing all of you south of our border, a very happy long weekend for your 4th of July.

Happy Canada Day, Theresa! We were camping and had absolutely NO cell service which was actually kind of a blessing! DH and his buddies did a 45 mile bicycle ride on a rails to trails route near Medicine Bow, Wyoming. Back home now and catching up.

It's hard to believe it's almost July 4th. Praying for a change in our government.

Did you attend any of the fun things? My husband & I are hosting our annual Independence Day Get together. Eight ( pandemic years) --- forty guest for Bar-B-Qing and pot luck in the back yard. This year due to heat we may need to squeeze 30 folks inside.

Happy belated Canada Day & Independence Day both! The local brewery put on a party for the holiday, but I stayed aboard and quilted while my dh joined our cruising friends for the festivities. We went to a local dance class yesterday evening to learn some salsa and bachata steps...was fun! Otherwise a quiet 4th here in Grenada. I may be tackling the construction of a new bimini top and cockpit enclosure 🤯. Not sure I can do it!

Rho, how did your BarBQue go? no rain? not too hot? Hope it went well.

Thank you for asking--it was one we will be shaking our heads about in the future. After I rented chairs and tables SEVEN more folks RSVPd. Heat stayed tolerable enough to set up outside. Friend who volunteered to do the cooking put half the chicken back in frige and it was never served. Another guest showed up on the wrong day. But a good time was had by all and that is the important thing.
