wood floor is fabulous.

Loving wood and wood floors my home is pretty much all dark walnut with the exception of my MB which is now under renovation. I need help, quickly. I love the wood used ...501 Carnation. Do you do work north of the GG Bridge in Tiburon? What type wood floor is it? How soon is it available to lay. I've a 40X 18 MB suite. This is truly a 24 karat problem

Hi jean sorry for the delayed response. This is a custom engineered 5/8" french oak flooring. Unfortunately we do not work outside of central orange county but I'm sure some locals installers up there can source a similar product. We have all of our floors custom made and finished for our projects. I hope this helps and good luck!

Jean Ann - look at French Oak and American White Oak. This floor looks to have been done in a variable width, variable length format and is probably fumed and scraped. The grade looks to be character grade. There are a number of mills in California - not as tough as you think :) Check out Heppner Flooring, Christopher Warren, Board Brokers, and the Finishes supplier above for options!
