Your floor will contribute a lot too. You can check slabs easier by bringing a piece of flooring and a sample of the door material to stone yards. Get a slab moved to daylight when you;ve reduced the choices. Slab backsplash would work with the limited needed. You do have to plan the match between the counter and wall before you reserve the slabs. This layout for cuts has to be clearly communicated with your fabricator with inspection before delivery.

with your beautiful sleek cabinets I would use the same countertop material for the backsplash. and keep the floor sleek too. Stunning.

The outlets really break up that wall. Have you considered using plugmold? You could have a much cleaner look regardless of the backsplash material you use.

I like your tile choice and I don’t often like the monolithic use of counter material for backsplash, although your modern space would carry the single material look well. Keep in mind that unlike a backsplash enclosed by two walls, yours would have a free edge that will show the thickness of the stone and must be finished - again, not my favorite look.

There is no one true backsplash choice. There are always alternatives that would be just as beautiful. You could also look at sheet glass. It would be lovely. It all depends on the look you want, and the statement you want to make. To me, tile imparts more of an arts and crafts, handmade, artisanal look. Counter material backsplash reads ”I didn’t have it in me to make one more decision” - or ”I have enough eye catchers, don’t look here.” Alternative materials, like copper or other metal sheets, or sheet glass, say, ”this space was meditated on, designed, purposeful.” If you want people to be captivated by your grain matched cabinet wood, use sheet glass or counter material. If you want to balance the workmanship of the cabinets with another handcrafted art piece, use tile.

You’ve made such beautiful choices already, you really can’t go wrong.

The counter is nice but I’m not a fan of the tiles. The cabinets are gorgeous and should be complemented to their best advantage. Maybe look on line for ideas/combinations you really like. Consider less and more defined veining.

Tabs are fine but you’ll need a more substantial pull for the fridge. Will the fridge be panel-ready and integrated/flush mount?

i would do quartzite same on counters and backsplash… move and reduce the outlets - they ahouls be lower and less of them. the oval ones with the round outlets about 4” up from counter will look great. wow, what great caninets, you can do somehting stunning for counters be brave!

Yes, walnut veneer doors from The Cabinet Face, and plug molding. The only cutout in the backsplash is a switch for under cabinet lighting.

Tiny detail - For the cabinets that will have glass fronts consider having the shelving and interiors wrapped in walnut veneer

Like @eam44 suggests or a patterned glass so you don't see the stark white interior with holes and hinges as much.
