Lates Starting Bloom

last year

Two of my lates, Miss Goldie Gold Digger and a seedling, started blooming today. I have four lates in all. Summer Snowball started blooming the middle of last week. It was always more of a ML in Nashville. Tahlequah Flame has not scaped. I think it was the very last one I planted the first week of November last year.

August Frost X Winter's Angel ffo - This one was also planted the first week of November, but it has plenty of scapes. They are not particularly well-budded compared to when I grew it in Nashville. This is a evening shot.

Miss Goldie Gold Digger ffo - This one has the tallest scape in the garden. It's more than four feet tall.

Chicago Girls and Conspiracy Theory are two of the best branched daylilies in my garden. I love how these colors look together. The Color of Wonderful is the daylily in the background.

Confessions of Hemaholic X Entwined in the Vine is taller here than it was in Nashville.

Dearest Valentine

Lonesome Jaguar - The petal color was really bleached out today. We were back in the 90s yesterday and today.

I like the white midribs on Gypsy cat. Makes it more dramatic in the landscape.....Your white seedling out of August Frost looks very white late in the day. I think it's a pretty one.......Maryl

I like the look of Chicago Girls. The white seedling looks good. Love the edging. The Confessions of a Hemaholic seedling has an interesting look and I think I like it! Always love Memphis.

Victorian Garden Emerald Breeze is a lovely one. I like Chicago Girls, Confessions of Hemaholic X Entwined in the Vine is so delicate in color. a lovely one. And Of course, Gypsy Cats is a favorite..

We're still in the heat wave, but got heavy rain this evening. I agree about the Davisson duo, and yes, Gypsy Cats benefits from that midrib in my book. Let's see more of it.
