What a wonderful collection of these you have! My favorite of the pinks is Jubilee Ball. My favorite of the blues is Tactical Cat.

I am sure you have shown it but I don’t remember Kissing Bride. So pretty. I do love all the pinks but I am always drawn to Finder’s Delight as a perfect form. Doing All Right also catches my eye.

Am I supposed to find one that isn't pretty? Impossible. Jubilee Ball is always an eye catcher, Extra Bold, Doing All Right and Salty Skipper stand out as well. Bennett did great work with light to medium pinks, and with a form I like...........Maryl

I have always liked Salty Skipper, does it perform like this for you every season? Finders Delight and Fashionaire are also favorites. Such a wonderful collection, love the classic shapes.

Jubilee Ball has looked good again this year. Sitting Cool has good substance but is so washed out this year. Same with Extra Bold and Salty Skipper. I don't recall Kissing Bride. Have you described it before? Polar Fizz looked terrific this year. It is part of the garden that was scorched last year. Have a Heart is another I don't recall your discussing.

For the majority of my collection, this is their first blooming cycle in the garden. I am rather impressed with how they recovered and reaching their registered heights. Some of them look better in this location than in my other garden. The soil in my other garden seemed to be more like powdered sugar when it got dry. My current garden seems to retain more moisture. I am doing what I always do when planting new plants. Fill the hole with miracle grow soil for flowers and vegetables, sprinkle a little water storing polymer crystals around the mound of soil in the hole followed by a scoop of Osmocote time released fertilizer. Then I plop the plant in the hole and fill it in with a combo of the soil that came out of the hole along with the Miracle Grow soil for flowers and vegetables. When I lived in MD, I had to add sand to my mixture, because it was a heavy clay area and I also put gypsum in the hole. Maybe this should be a topic for future posts about how each of us prepares the hole for daylilies? I am always looking for ways to improve the performance of my daylilies, aside from more rain/ water.

So many pretty ones, I do love the form on most of Bennett's daylilies. Doing All Right might be my favorite, always love Salty Skipper.

Extra Bold is quite a beauty. RUNAWAY ROMANCE is also pretty. Jubilee Ball is a nice soft color.

I plant my daylilies this way: when I have any soil on hand, I mix it with the dirt I removed and then plant. If I don't have any on hand which is common, I can get dirt from the wooded strip behind my house which is better dirt than in the yard. This is the more common way I plant. Over the years my soil has improved. Except for rebloom, mine do well. Parts of my beds were pure orange clay dirt at one time but are so much better now.

BIG HEARTED LADY: Once the initial blooms get out of its system, it settles down and they look like this. I love this shade of pink.

Which of the white-midrib ones is (are) your favorite? UpTempo--another I don't recall your discussing.

The Salty Skipper clump is a good one. Your Bold Symphony appears darker than mine but that could be the heat!

Mantis - Up Tempo and Kissing Bride have only been in the ground for 3 to 4 years. I picked them up from Shaw's Daylilies. They carry about 5 of Mr. Bennett's intros. Have a Heart is eye catching with that big red eye. It looks great in a clump.

My favority white midribbed daylilies are: Burtonsville Blush, Fashionaire, Have A Heart, Iron Warrior, and Bold Symphony.

Salty Skipper is such a good one. It was my first Bennett. Where is Beauty in Motion? mine surprised me reblooming today. I like all of them, but the delicacy od Doing all Right and sweet Tart is striking.
