how is the quality?

Very experienced designers on here swear by Ikea cabinet's durability and longevity. I recall while house hunting seeing Ikea cabinets in kitchens that were updated 15 years ago and the cabinets were still in great condition. I've already read articles in mags about designers who put in subzero fridges and Ikea cabinets in the same kitchen.

While Ikea certainly makes some products that are flimsy junk, other products are quite solid.

We bought white flat panel RTA Conestoga cabinets for our son’s kitchen and he’s happy with them. You do have to assemble them but it‘s not difficult.
