Maybe the sofa table should be removed so all pieces & rug can be pulled back & widen the walkway space along under TV & FP to hallway? If can’t or won’t then move the floor lamp as it’s too crowded so close to hallway. Put it in corner & add another smaller lamp to sit on the console table at the end where the child is. Makes the table useful at least. Hang a large & colorful canvas on that huge wall. Add a couple pillows to sofa with colors from art. Window treatments planned?

Ya I do not know why people think it's such a sin to have furniture against the wall. Walkway is so much more important than someone's idea of high style. If you have a ginormous room that's one thing but this room with this furniture needs all the people space it can get!

I would remove the console table and move both sofas towards the window.

An actual layout of your living room with dimensions would help. What is in that corner? Looks too narrow to be a hall?

I would turn everything 90 degrees and put the TV on the blank wall. Sofa up against the windows.

Thank you everyone! The "hall" is actually just the entrance to the master bedroom..I'll get some dimensions
