SW Woodscapes is a stain, are you going with a solid Stain color?

for me SW Iron Ore is too severe.

to compliment the roof and not add another contrasting color, I would do the fascia SW Urbane Bronze, but the garage doors the same color as the siding color. They will just look like a black hole if they are a black tone.

I think the colors you have are perfect as is. I never understand the "update the look" thing when a house or space is in harmony with the setting and style.

I would rethink going dark with the prominent and low roof.

It seems a lighter color siding would help ”lift” the house and give it more life. Darker colors, in your case, could make the house look smaller and more compressed. If not white, then maybe a light shade of a color you like that also works with the roof. The roof appears brown/warm…?

I agree with housegal200. The colors you have now look good on your house. I would leave it alone, or if it needs to be stained, use the same color.

Here are the Woodscapes solid color stains. There are greens, blues and reds that would be adorable on your Cape Cod house. Too dark, and it all seems like a blur with your dark roof.

I think what you have is a nice look not sure how going darker will be better look .

I like the upper right green color on RedRyder's color chart. (Hi from WI!)

Red would be a standout statement in the Wisconsin woods. It is not gloomy in winter like dark brown and gray colors.
