The curtains in the last photo look as if they were made of stiff fabric and too long thus bunching up on the floor. I am not a fan of having lenths of fabric hanging at the sides of windows so I will not advise about draperies. If it were my house I would put roman folds or another window treatment that raises and lowers.

I'd put nice fabric shades there as well.

The AI rendering looks okay (panels are too long!) but keep in mind that AI often fudges details for aesthetic purposes. It looks like your actual space for hanging hardware and stacking the panels is complicated and tight.

Using shades will look more polished because you won't have all the visible hardware. If the window frame configuration allows, I would consider outside mounting a nice fabric shade for looks and inside mounting a pull down black out blind for light control.
