bathroom mirror ideas

I am in search of the best options for vanity near layout and lighting. This is in the master bathroom. There is currently can lighting in the 9 foot ceilings. I was thinking I would fill I would fill the most of the space on the open wall at both sinks with a large lighted mirror. I have them sitting in place and now questioning if I should add a vanity light as well. Or scratch the light and mirror altogether and just have a vanity light with a regular mirror. I Really wanted to function well and look very nice. Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.!

have you considered adding to the center corner cabinet?

like floating shelves above the outlets? With the outlets there, it wouldn't be too diffucult to fish up a wire to add sconces.

I would choose mirrors to hang centered over each sink.

You could look at doing two framed mirrors with sconces on either side, or a linear art light above the mirrors for lighting.

I like the mirrors with the lighting included, but then I think that if the light goes out I have to replace both the mirror and the lighting. I love the look of a mirror flanked on each side by a sconce.

It looks tight on the right side between the sink and the wall for a mirror + sconce? could just be the angle of the photo tho

It would be very tight to do a sconce on the right side of that mirror. I believe if you do a sconces that it should be centered over the sink for sure and that would be very . I am wondering if I mounted two of these(light mirrors) if it would be advised to put a vanity light over the top. Or abandon these lighted mirrors and just go with a regular mirror with the vanity light over the top. Possibly a three light such as the one in the picture over each mirror? I really do appreciate all of the feedback!!

A lot of this is personal preference but I don’t love clear glass fixtures over the mirror as I think that light can be pretty harsh with the glare

for the fixture you show I don’t think that black finish suits the light/bright mirror - maybe a fixture that is sleeker and looks/feels lighter?

can you hang/hookup the mirrors and then reevaluate to see if you need more light?

I will just say that the mirror with the LED light is nice/mood lighting but typically not great for grooming. An added light over the mirror will be needed. Something like this that is a light bar (not individual bulbs/shades) in a finish that matches your metal (and dimmable) would do the trick. Make sure you get it close to the mirror so it doesn’t come up higher than the tower height.
