I like a rusty barn type red. Benjamin Moore Barn red ES-22 would look very nice on your house. Its neither too red, or too orange, and no bluish or purple tints either.

But in a much better quality paint like BM Advance. Like sll teds, it trnds to lighten up a bit with age snd UV exposure. Which is why I prefer a red that starts off a bit darker on the front end.

BM Barn Red is also a good color, but tends a bit more to the violet magenta end of the spectrum and also ages a bit more that way too.

Any red fades quite a bit more than other colors. So prepare yourself for more often repaints. Or else have it sprayed at an autobody shop, with PPG auto paint. Their red pigments are much less sensitive to UV. They are a big improvement over the 80’s reds that went pink and chalkey in a just a couple of years.

I have been eyeing Caliente AF-290 and BM Heritage Red.

The best exterior reds are from Sherwin's archived historical collection. (IMO) Formulated for exterior in a special order red base - RL ALK LL RED BASE. Some stores stock it, depends on where you're located. Special order can take up to a week.

They're inconvenient because no chips, no samples, only quarts to see and test colors, product # PRS8-C0063

Worth the trouble if you want unique reds and/or can't find what you want out of the normal, stock exterior reds.

My vote is for Caliente.

Between Heritage Red and Caliente, it seems to have a touch of gray in it and so does your siding...I think Caliente would work nicely.
