exterior trim color

Just had our exterior Hardie Board siding painted Analytical Gray. Working with trim now on outside will have garage doors, decorative pieces above windows and pillars on front porch painted Alabaster as the Sherwin Williams color expert suggested. Our windows on the exterior are an off white color. Worried it will clash too much, although the small sample of alabaster seemed to blend just fine. The garage doors were just painted and it seems to be a stark white and not the creamy white I envisioned. Anyone out there use alabaster for their exterior trim?

Alabaster is technically an off-white. Off-whites show up stark white exterior. Color of White show up even sharper, more stark. I rarely specify white or off whites for exterior, and this is why.

I would have suggested Manchester Tan instead. It's one of my favorite exterior colors because it typically shows up looking like the kind of "creamy" most people envision and it works with A LOT of the near neutrals, neutrals that work well exterior.
